About Us- 

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education. FCCLA offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students to pursue careers that support families. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.


The Virginia FCCLA State Leadership and Recognition Conference is an annual event held in Virginia Beach. Members have the opportunity to attend general sessions, participate in leadership workshops, and compete in STAR Event competitions.

The 2024 National Leadership Conference held in Seattle, WA brought together more than 8,000 passionate Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) student members, advisers, and guests.

Get ready for the 2025 NLC in Orlando, FL from July 5-9.
